It may be getting a bit chilly outside, but your kitchen can be hot! Try Caribbean Black Bean Soup to warm up your kitchen and some stomachs!
Caribbean Black Bean Soup
4 cans black beans, drained
1 C vegetable broth
1˝ C Half & Half
1 Tbsp. ground cloves
1 Tbsp. ground cinnamon
2 fresh limes, each quartered
Puree black beans with broth in food processor. Transfer to pan and add Half & Half, cloves and cinnamon. Bring to boil over medium heat while stirring. Serve in bowl with a fresh lime wedge. The lime adds a great “kick”.
